The Office 365 Calendar Integration feature on the platform is for the Conversation tool only.
What is it?
The Coaching Culture platform supports a bi-directional integration with the Office 365/Outlook Calendar system. This means that Coaching Conversations scheduled within the platform will be available in both parties’ Outlook calendar for review.
The integration will also synchronise any rescheduling of Coaching Conversations automatically if either the Office 365/Outlook calendar event is moved, or the Conversation is rescheduled in the platform as usual.
Security Considerations
To provide a seamless experience, an administrator of your Office 365 account will need to authorise the integration. This means that the Coaching Culture Platform has read/write access to the calendars of all individuals within your organisation. This is programmatic access that is not able to be utilised by any individual at Coaching Culture. Additionally, the Platform only modifies events directly created by it.
The platform is also programmatically notified of any changes to all events within your user’s calendars. These notifications are only provided for users who have scheduled at least one Coaching Conversation within the platform. Any notifications related to events not created by the Coaching Culture Platform are automatically discarded without retrieving any information about those events.
How to Enable the Integration
The integration can only be enabled by a user with Organisation Admin privileges within the Coaching Culture Platform and who is also an Administrator of the Office 365 account.
- Within the Coaching Culture Platform, navigate to the Integrations section of the Admin menu.
- Once there, click the Authorise button next to the Office 365 Integration. This will redirect you to the Microsoft Authorisation screen.
- Once you have reviewed the permissions being sought by the Coaching Culture Platform and you agree to provide those permission, click the Accept button. This will redirect you to a page on the Coaching Culture Platform confirming that the Integration has been successfully enabled.
The integration is now enabled and all future Coaching Conversations will be synchronised with the appropriate calendars within Office 365/Outlook.
