180 degree: This is where two people are in the feedback process - usually the employee and their manager. 

270 degree: This is where there are three groups in the feedback process - usually the employee, their manager and their peers, either from their team or from other departments if they have recently worked with them. 

360 degree: Add the employee's direct reports to the three groups in 270 degree feedback and you have 360. 

540 degree: As 360 with the addition of external respondents such as customers or external stakeholders.

720 degree: This is basically two 360s - a 360 run at the start of a period to determine developmental plans and a 360 at the end of the period to see progress.
