Some ideas on how the Feedback tool could be used:

1. Create development plans and review progress

To gain objective opinions on a employees strengths and development areas hold a 360 with a customised form focussed on skills and behaviours. Make a plan for development with the results. Hold another 360 at the end of the period to see progress.

2. Understand the effectiveness of your managers

Hold a 180 feedback with your managers for them to gain the perspectives from their direct reports. Think of the attributes and behaviours your managers need to exhibit and ask their direct reports to rate them . You will find themes you want to develop.

3. Keep culture front and centre

A strong culture takes time to establish, run a 360 to help employees understand how they contribute to your culture and where they need to focus. Continuously putting the importance of culture front and centre.

4. Influence your leadership development programme

Enable your leadership programme participants to understand their areas for development. At the start of the programme carry out a 270 (no direct reports) on the qualities you expect from your leadership team. Look for the themes and focus the programme on the major areas for development.
